The Met Studio Is Lagree Fitness
At The MET Studio, you’ll train using the Lagree Fitness Training Method created by Sebastien Lagree.
By incorporating the key principles of core stability and the fusion of muscle dynamics, Sebastien Lagree has created the next evolution in physical fitness.
The Lagree Fitness Training Method utilizes resistance and counter-resistance in a sequence that encourages maximum exertion with low risk of injury. This promotes flexibility and elasticity.
Simply Put:
The MET Studio is Hi-intensity,
Lo-impact,
Core,
Muscle Strength, Muscle Endurance Workout
The MET stands for Muscular Endurance Training. Ultimately, this is our goal for you. We want your body to have the ability to work for an extended amount of time without fatigue. It is the best method to strengthen, tighten, and sculpt the body quickly and safely.
Each move has the foundation of a plank, squat, or lunge, plus we sprinkle in variations to help strengthen the entire body.
During your workout, you should expect to shake, sweat, and feel sore the next day.
After practicing at the MET, you will feel energized and stronger.
What
Makes This Method An Effective Workout?
The Miniformer Pro has a movable carriage that uses springs as the source of resistance.
As you move the carriage out, the spring stretches and the tension increases. As the carriage moves in, the spring compresses and the tension decreases. This type of tension is called Variable Tension.
Variable tension works smarter than static tension (weights) by:
allowing you to maintain more control over movement
allowing you to stay engaged longer in a movement
preparing you for daily tasks by gaining functional strength
preventing injury
reducing excessive stress on the joints
At The MET Studio, we keep our classes intentionally small — with just 8 Miniformer Pros — so you get the personalized, high-quality experience you deserve.
Why Small Classes = Better Results
More Personalized Attention
Your trainer sees everything — your form, pace, alignment, and effort — and can give you real-time feedback, modifications, and challenges to meet your needs.
Stronger Trainer-Client Connection
In a smaller setting, your trainer gets to know you: your goals, strengths, and how to push you safely and effectively. You’re not just another body in the room — you’re a name, a face, and a priority.
Better Form, Fewer Injuries
With fewer people in the room, trainers can monitor movement more closely to ensure you're performing each exercise safely and correctly. That means less risk of injury and better results.
Community Vibes, Without the Crowds
Smaller classes foster a supportive, non-intimidating environment where clients encourage each other and grow together — without ever feeling lost or overwhelmed.
More Space, More Comfort
With just 8 machines, everyone has room to move, breathe, and focus without distractions or crowding — making your workout feel smoother and more intentional.
Focused Energy, Fewer Distractions
A calm, focused energy helps you stay mentally in the zone, especially during slower, controlled Lagree movements where mind-muscle connection is everything.
